About Conference 

Technological innovation has become a major element influencing all aspects of human society. It is essential that with increasing interdependence between technology and society, efforts are made to align and harness technological innovation.

Objective
This annual conference is to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Understand social innovations space, problems, players, role technology plays, showcase interesting solutions and network the social innovation ecosystem and connect tech with NGOs and impact funders.

Target Audience
The conference aims to bring together all creators and users of the technology in social space to explore how emerging technologies can impact and enable the social sector.

• Social sector: NGOs, Social scientists, Policy think tanks
• Social innovators: Startups, tech for change innovation groups (like RCTS)
• Impact funding: Impact fund firms, CSR leaders, Multilateral global funders
• Academic research: researchers working at the intersection of tech and society
• Tech: Tech leaders from industry and Academic Researchers

Program

We have planned a day of knowledge & learning, deliberations and a showcase of interesting Innovations from various social and tech organizations, including startups.

Roundtable brainstorming meetings

These close door roundtables connect various government entities, academia, large NGOs, technologists, and social research organizations to deliberate on: Innovating Net zero, Mobility and Beyond, and ESG: Corporates, NGOs, and the CSR Convergence.

Panel discussions

The 3 Plenary panels are on: Collaboration is the key to Social Innovation; Frontlines of LLMs/CV in the Education Sector; and Funding tech-led social change. Panelists are from diverse areas of expertise like startups, NGOs, academics/research institutes, Corporate CSRs, impact funders and Govt depts.

Keynote addresses

A talk will be given by senior social/govt thought leaders on technology and society.

Innovation Showcases

Tech startups will showcase interesting innovations impacting the social sector or that have the potential to bring social impact.

Networking

There will be networking spaces for different stakeholders to connect with each other as the conference is inviting audiences from diverse domain areas.

This conference is jointly organized by AIC-IIITH and RCTS of IIIT Hyderabad in collaboration with Ecosystem Partners.
